NEWARK, N.J. — Billionaire barbershop Danny’s Barber Shop has opened in Newark, New Jersey.
The business opened Monday at 1640 W. 12th St. in Newark and will be located at 601 W. 14th St., Newark, the business said in a statement.
The barbershops owner, Bill Burchfield, said he was looking forward to opening his first New Jersey business.
“We’re excited to open up here in Newark,” Burchwood said.
“I’ve lived in Newark my whole life.
I’ve had some friends over from the States and have always wanted to open a barbershop.
We’ve had a couple friends that have come here and they’ve had great experiences and it’s a great city to live in.
The people here are great.
I’m really excited about it.”
The location is near the intersection of 14th and 12th streets.
The barbers will open a few hours before closing time.
The opening comes just days after the state legislature approved a bill allowing NJ residents to purchase recreational marijuana through the state’s first-ever regulated online shop.
The state’s medical marijuana law also took effect on Monday.
The legislation now heads to Gov.
Chris Christie, who is expected to sign it into law.
